Mark Studham and Sarah Williams (parents of Sarah Studham).
Mark and Sarah married in Newenden Kent in 1756 [Familysearch English marriages from the LDS]. At one of his children's baptisms he is noted as a traveller and at another he and his wife are "vagrants". The family moved around a lot in Kent. He was born in 1728 in Canterbury Kent to Sarah Studham. He died in the Workhouse at Milton near Sittingbourne Kent in 1767 and his wife Sarah later remarried. The year 1767 was a terrible one for her. In the space of less than three months she lost her husband and two children. Her origins are as yet unknown.
Richard and Mary Moses (parents of Sarah Moses)
Richard’s marriage to Mary has not yet been found. It was his third marriage. In his will he asked for gentleman farmer Nicholas Messenger to be guardian to his daughter Sarah. He was of Upchurch Kent at death and died in 1769. At the time of his first marriage he was of Lenham Kent. Richard is believed to have owned barges for a living.
James Hubbard and Elizabeth Skinner (parents of James Hubbard)
This couple married in Hartlip Kent in 1730. Elizabeth was born in Hartlip in 1709 to James Skinner and Ann née Smith. James Hubbard was baptised at Boxley Kent in 1706 to James Hubbard and Elizabeth née Beane .
Edward Henty and Elizabeth Rolphe (parents of Anthony Henty)
Edward was born around 1684 if his age at death is accurate. He died in 1769 in Chiddingly Sussex. The burial register notes that he was a long serving parish clerk. He married Elizabeth in Chiddingly in 1708. Elizabeth was born in Fletching Sussex in 1687 to Thomas Rolphe and Mary.
William Geale and Ann Fuller (parents of William Geale)
William married Ann in Westerham Kent in 1745 but they settled in Hever. Ann was born in Westerham in 1718 to Edward Fuller, though her family also had land in Hever. William was described as of Hever at the time of his marriage but was not baptised there. He died in 1796. His last name like other Geales can be rendered Jeal, Cheale and more. It was a common name in parts of Sussex and Surrey. He is not the William born Edenbridge in 1711 and prob not the 1725 Farnborough birth either.
John Rye and Elizabeth Lee (parents of Sarah Rye)
John and Elizabeth married in Withyham in 1751. I have yet to seek the baptism of Elizabeth. John was baptised at Withyham 1730 to Richard Rye and Anne née Baker.
Francis Buley and Sarah Moon (parents of Sarah Buley)
Francis was born in 1725 in Brenchley Kent to Thomas Buley and Prince nee Bradgate (yes her first name was Prince!) He was described as both a yeoman and a salesman (which at the time usually meant an animal dealer) and married Sarah in Tonbridge Kent in 1752. The couple lived in a house in Brenchley owned by his wife's relative Sarah Cayley. This she eventually left to Francis as well as a half share in another property there and land in both Brenchley and Lamberhurst. Francis already owned another property in Brenchley which he rented out.
Sarah was born in Rotherfield Sussex in 1725 to John Moon and Elizabeth nee Stephens.
The couple have a memorial within the churchyard in Brenchley which features cherubs holding a looking glass.
Joseph Silsby and Mary Britt (parents of Sarah Silsby)
Joseph was born in Shermanbury Sussex in 1701 to Joseph Silsby and Sarah nee Tiltman.
Mary was born in 1711 Shermanbury to William Britt and Bridget formerly Denman. The couple married in Shermanbury in 1729.
William and Elizabeth Britter (parents of Hannah Britter)
William was born in Maidstone Kent in 1726 to John Britter and Mary nee Lamb. His marriage to Elizabeth has not been found so her origins are difficult to ascertain.
Edward Brisley and Ann Burgess (parents of Thomas Brisley)
Edward was born in Burnham Kent in 1735 to Edward Brisley and Ann née Box. He married Ann in 1761. She was then "of Maidstone". He was the tenant in lands to Robert Salmon in Burham in 1798.
George Mills and Mary Taylor (parents of Mary Mills)
This couple married in Rodmersham Kent in 1754 George was the son of John Mills and Elizabeth nee Fann /Fane. Mary was the child of James Taylor and Martha nee Fryland. George was born in 1730 in Aylesford and Mary was born there in 1734.
Edward Kidney and Mary Bennett (parents of John Kidney)
This couple married in Sutton Valence Kent in 1748. Mary was born there in 1723 to John Bennett and Mary née Groombridge. Edward was the son of John Kidney and Jane widow Kerby and was born also in Sutton Valence in 1723.
Edward Tooth and Elizabeth nee Knight (parents of Margaret Tooth)
This couple married in Chiddingstone Kent in 1738. The origins of Edward are uncertain. He may have been a widower. Elizabeth was born in Leigh Kent in 1714 to George Knight and Elizabeth.
Thomas Bennett and Sarah Halley (parents of James Bennett)
Sarah and Thomas married in Ightham Kent in 1757. Thomas died there in 1814. He was born Tonbridge Kent to Richard and Frances née Wood. Sarah was born in Ightham in 1734 to Ralph Halley and Anne. The last name Halley is very prone to variant spelling and forms.
